New president for CVFSA

The CVFSA Board of Directors wish to announce that they have accepted the resignation of Troy Mutch from the positions of President and Alberta Director for the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Association. Over the past two and a half years, Troy has led many significant initiatives on behalf of the CVFSA. His personal contributions in organizing and supporting the Alberta flood relief with CVFSA partners Duracell and Proctor and Gamble were invaluable. During his leadership the CVFSA acted as honourary hosts for the Canadian Fallen Firefighter Foundation’s memorial weekend in September of 2014. On behalf of the CVFSA Board and the entire volunteer fire service in Canada, we would like to thank Troy Mutch for his contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors Vice President and BC Director Graham Pawlett will take on the position of CVFSA President on an interim basis until the CVFSA’s AGM in September of this year.
