Appointment of Fire Chief Shayne D. LaMontagne to the Board of Directors
As the CVFSA continue with their expansion of the National Board, they are pleased to announce the appointment of Fire Chief Shayne D. LaMontagne, as the new Saskatchewan Provincial Director. Shayne brings with him over two decades of volunteer fire service as a member of the Regina Beach Fire Department where he currently serves as their fire chief. In addition to his 24 years as volunteer firefighter, he also has 13 years as a Mine Rescue Captain as part of the Mosaic Belle Plaine Emergency Response Team. Shayne is in his second term as Director for Region 4 within the Saskatchewan Fire Chiefs Association. He also sits as an Operations Chief for his local municipal Emergency Measures Organization. He also has several years’ experience as a First Responder.
