Don McKee Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2017 to honour the late Donald McKee, one of the earliest board members of the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Association (CVFSA). Don’s 13 years of dedication to the CVFSA by volunteering his time, professionalism and expertise will never be forgotten. Eligible applicants are CVFSA members or dependent children of members who are pursuing their goal of higher education under the age of 25.
Applicants must be in the process or have been accepted at an accredited university or college to pursue a course of study which will lead to a recognized degree.
The award which shall be given annually: $1,500
The awarding of the scholarship will be based on the academic standing of the applicant and their involvement with school and community.
